The “Utah Sports Commission presents Tony Hawk’s Vert Alert” is a FREE two-day vert skateboarding competition and Legends Demo which attracts the best vert skateboarders from around the world, past and present. This year’s event is at the Jon M. Huntsman Center at the University of Utah.
NO SKATEBOARDS INSIDE THE VENUE. THERE IS A SKATEBOARD CHECK OUTSIDE THE DOORS.

Tony Hawk's Vert Alert 2026
Tony Hawk's Vert Alert is a FREE EVENT for general admission. This year, we are offering a limited number of VIP Tickets for purchase.
The VIP Ticket Package includes:
- Rampside seats for Friday and Saturday with up-close viewing in the arena.
- Meet & Greet autograph signing with Tony Hawk and friends.
- A Vert Alert event poster provided for autograph signing. A Limited Edition Vert Alert Skateboard Deck will also be available for purchase (no additional items allowed).
